As soon as I was old enough enough to hold a screwdriver I started taking things apart to try and figure out how they worked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

40 years later not a lot has changed – (except now I can sometimes manage to put them back together again).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From soldering my first guitar repairs as a kid using a gas hob and 4in nail, dismantling various electronic devices to scavenge components to make new guitar pedals, building computers out of broken thrown away machines I rescued from the tip, meddling with microcontrollers in assembly language, interfering with copy protection and game cheats back in the floppy disk era, I taught myself by trial and error (lots of errors!) some useful things, and many many less useful things. Here you’ll find some of my more recent projects and fiddlings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m a big fan of anything that involves re-purposing or subverting hardware and software to do things they were never intended to do. More recently this has led me back towards software\/network hacking and to taking and passing the offsec OSCP exam. Currently pursuing the possibility of putting these skills to some positive use and potentially a career change (if I’m not already too old! \ud83e\uddd3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If it’s broken – I can work out how to fix it, and if it’s not broken then I can sure as hell find a way to break it \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
